Wild Hunt Academy of Arts (ワイルドハント芸術学院, Wild Hunt Academy of Arts) is one of the many schools in Kivotos.

General Information[]

Described as the birthplace of the arts, they are an academy that specializes in various forms of art. While not as large as the Big Three schools, their history rivals even the likes of Trinity and Gehenna. The students of Wild Hunt reside in strictly managed dormitories, honing their art skills day in and out. Unlike most schools, Wild Hunt does not have any official clubs due to the arts being deeply intertwined with their academic studies, rendering clubs as superfluous. As a result, a majority of Wild Hunt's "clubs" are simply unofficial gatherings of like-minded individuals.

While the school does not have a formal student council, the Arts Council is the closest Wild Hunt has to one. The Council utilizes strict standards to evaluate and classify the artistic merit of various artistic works. The Council is also responsible for assigning dorm rooms to students and enforcing order, the latter of which is done primarily through the subordinate Dorm Supervisory Unit.

Trivia[]

The school's name derive from folklore motifs in several European societies, prevalent among Germanic, Celtic, and Slavic mythos. Wild Hunts generally involved chases led by a mythological figure, and the hunters generally the souls of the deceased, but would also feature fairies, valkyries, or elves.
Though the Wild Hunts are a predominantly a Northern, Central, and Eastern European folklore, the school seems to take heavy influence from Italian culture between the school's weapons, architecture, and the presence of a "Leopardo da Finchi".
This school was mentioned since the 2nd PV. It does not appear in any form until the -ive aLIVE! event. The school was first shown in its earnest in a livestream in August 2025.
Maki mentioned that she tried to enroll to Wild Hunt, but was unsuccessful.^[1]
Up until the release of We Are the Occult Research Society!, Tsumugi was the only known student. However, many fans also speculated that Akira was also a student belonging to the school.
Wild Hunt Academy's real-life location and its origins are based in Fort Bourtange, a star fortress constructed in the Netherlands in the early 17th century.
- As a result, Wild Hunt is the second school to be based upon European-style architecture, the first being Trinity General School.
- Interestingly, most Wild Hunt students predominantly use Italian-made weaponry made by manufacturers such as Benelli, Beretta, and Franchi.
