Trivia[]

  • The word 「始発」 in the volume's title can refer to the first train of the day or a departure from the home station, which may be a reference to the prologue scene where the GSC president is riding the train and talking to Sensei.
  • This volume is currently the only volume with major events linked to it, such as F.SCT Strategic Battle, A-H.A Occupation Battle, and PHT Decisive Battle.
  • This volume is the second volume with a dedicated Ending Credits song[23] following Volume 2.
  • The 4th PV[24] mainly revolves around this volume.
  • Chapter 2 released 2 days after the release of Chapter 1, making it the fastest Main Story update in Blue Archive history.
  • Due to the volume being titled the "Final Volume," some were worried that the game was approaching its EoS. However, this was disproven in an interview[25] with the game's producers, where they confirmed that this was actually only the end of the game's beginning.
  • In an interview with isakusan[26], he mentioned that Volume F has been in development for around 5 years. In addition to that, he has hidden some elements of Volume F around the 1st-3rd PVs.
    • One of the hints that has been found is a drawing of Plana hidden in the bottom-left corner of the whiteboard [27] during the opening sequence of the 3rd PV, which led to people believing that the events of Volume F happened before the 1st Anniversary and before a year after Sensei's arrival in Kivotos.
  • In a developer commentary[28], Lim JongGyu mentioned how during the beginning of the Blue Archive project, he and other developers discussed how live service games don't usually have endings, so making a "Final Episode" would be the best way to get ahead with their new IP.
  • The CN release of the volume is released in full voice in Mandarin. This saw a few NPC getting their own Mandarin voice, which is also the first of the entire version of the game, like Nagusa, Satsuki and even Rabu.
    • Satsuki was announced to be playable in JP just a week after Chapter 2 was released in CN, making her voices revealed in 2 languages in just a short period.
    • The only exception in the release is Phrenapates remains silent for all of their dialogue.
  • This is the first main story volume which is released without a guide mission-type event accompanying it.
