Urawa Hanako (Swimsuit ver.) (浦和ハナコ (水着Ver.)) is the Swimsuit Variant of Hanako and is one of the students studying in Trinity General School who wields an Assault Rifle.

She is a member of the Supplementary Lessons Department.

Introduction[]

Hanako in a swimsuit(?) visited an island. Her usual testing behavior seems to have faded away, and she seems to be opening up her heart...

Appearance[]

Hanako has thigh-length pink hair that fades into a lighter tone. She sports a small braid on the right side, adorned with a white ribbon and has bangs that frame her face. Additionally, she has green eyes and a long ahoge atop her head.

She wears a T-shirt over a pink bikini top. Although never actually seen normally without breaking the camera of the game, this article of clothing is the only thing she is wearing, preferring all natural exposure for her procreative regions, with nobody being any of the wiser along with her never making it obvious when teasing others.

Trivia[]

  • She is the first student whose attack type is Sonic.
  • Her swimsuit variant's chibi model shows Hanako having a different hair color compared to her original chibi model.
  • In a developer commentary,[1] the developers recalled when Mx2j first uploaded the roughs of Hanako (Swimsuit)'s design to the taskbar and the studio was filled with murmurs asking "Swimsuit?" After seeing the scenario though, the team decided it was fine. After all, "if you believe it's a swimsuit, it's a swimsuit."
    • Additionally, one of the developers called out a detail where Hanako (Swimsuit)'s face changes depending on if her "swimsuit" is wet or not. The team made a shader exclusive and dedicated to this, emphasizing on the amount of work put into her.[2]
      • It reached to a point where during the creation process, one of the team members asked if one of them would get in trouble for designing Hanako (Swimsuit). Park Byunglim, the producer of Blue Archive, claimed that if someone were to get in trouble for it, he'll "make sure that Yongha and I show everyone what a responsible adult looks like."[3]
