Foreclosure Task Force (対策委員会編) is the first volume of Blue Archive's main story. It is set on Abydos High School and follows the students of the Foreclosure Task Force. There are currently three chapters released, totaling at 83 individual episodes.
This volume has been covered by the official anime adaptation of Blue Archive, which premiered on April 7, 2024.
Note: Due to Volume 1 having the same name as Abydos' club, other pages in the wikia will refer to Volume 1 as either simply "Volume 1" or "Abydos Arc" while the club will be referred to as either "The Foreclosure Task Force/FTC" or the "Countermeasures Committee".
Synopsis[]
Sensei is requested by Okusora Ayane of the Foreclosure Task Force to assist their school in repelling the local gangs that have been harassing them. As Sensei assists the girls of Abydos, more and more parties come into the mix, and secrets of school—and its students'—past are slowly brought to light. Will Sensei be able to save the school and its students?
Chapter 1: Strange Days for the Task Force[]
Strange Days for the Task Force (対策委員会の奇妙な一日) is the first chapter of Volume 1.
Description[]
Sensei receives a letter from Abydos' Foreclosure Task Force, requesting for supplies to fend off a persistent group of delinquents. As Sensei assists the girls, they learn about the purpose of the Task Force, and the absurd debt that they must pay off.

The entire chapter 1 was released alongside the beginning of service on February 4th, 2021.

Things Lost and Others Held On To (失ったもの、手放さなかったもの) is the second chapter of Volume 1. It is unlocked directly when Chapter 1 of the volume have been cleared.
Description[]
The girls of the Foreclosure Task Force continue to fight for Abydos' survival, and an unexpected tip brings them to an unexpected location. As the stories of the school's past and the conspiracies that continue to grasp them are revealed, the situation grows increasingly dire. Just how will the Task Force overcome this challenge and hold onto what they hold dear?

Trivia[]
- A number of references to other media can be found in Blue Archive's main story, a few examples, without spoiling much of the story, being:
- In Chapter 1 Episode 8, Sunaookami Shiroko talks about robbing a "First Central Bank". This could be a reference to the First World Bank in PAYDAY, a series of games all about robbery and pulling off grandiose heists.
- In Chapter 1, Episode 17, Black Suit says the line "I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse.", a famous quote from the movie "The Godfather".
- He even prefaces this by saying "How shall I put this? Ah, let me use this quote from a favorite movie of mine."
- In Chapter 2, Episode 17, Kaiser PMC is revealed to own a territory called "District 51", where they do research and experiments according to Black Suit. This is an obvious reference to Area 51, the common name for a United States Air Force facility that is supposedly used for testing experimental aircraft and weapons systems. Both are located in sandy regions, District 51 is in the Abydos Desert and Area 51 is in Nevada.
- The song played in a scene in Episode 19 Chapter 2 differs in each version of the game.
- JP version plays Clear Morning by Yui Ogura - who's also the voice actor of Shiroko.
- Global version plays Target For Love sung by Lee Jin Ah - although there's also 2 different version of it, where KR release plays the Korean version of the song and the rest of Global release uses the English version of it.
- CN version uses only instrumental version of Clear Morning in the scene.
- Unlike other main story chapters, Chapter 3 was teased by releasing a single-episode prologue on February 7th, 2024, only for the chapter's first part to actually be released 2 months after on April 11th, 2024.
- Additionally, Chapter 3 is the first chapter in any volume that is split into 5 parts (6 if the Prologue is included), and the chapter in a main story that contains the most episodes.
