Terrain (地形 ) are the environments in Blue Archive.
General Information[]
Each stage regardless of mission is comprised of 1 or the 3 types of terrain:
- City Area (市街地 ) or Urban Warfare, where the icon contains 3 buildings with different height each. City IconCategory:test
- Desert Area (屋外 ) or Field Warfare, where the icon contains 2 pyramids and a sun. Desert IconCategory:test
- Indoor Area (屋内 ) or Indoor Warfare, where the icon contains a single house. Indoor IconCategory:test
Depending on the stage, teachers should use students more favorable in that particular stage. Students who have an advantage in the terrain allows them to deal more damage, thus making it easier to clear the stage. There are 5 6 different type of affinities a student can have towards each terrain, explained below:
- An expression icon from Enthusiastic > Excited > Happy > Neutral > Sad > Frown.
- A color from Green > Yellow > Red.
- An alphabet from SS > S > A > B > C > D.
- Wikia terms from Outstanding > Excellent > Good > Neutral > Bad > Terrible.
Depending on the student's affinity towards a terrain, she will either deal more or less damage. When bringing a student with an excellent advantage over a terrain, she will deal 1.2x (20% more) damage. If a student has an advantage over her enemies' Defense Type , she will deal 2x (100% more) damage.
Damage are multiplicative in Blue Archive. The calculations are Terrain x Type x Attack.[1]
Examples:
- Excellent Terrain Excellent IconCategory:test (120%) x Weak (200%) = Total (240%)
- Excellent Terrain Excellent IconCategory:test (120%) x Weak x 1000 Atk = Total Damage 2400 (240%)
- Terrible Terrain Terrible IconCategory:test (80%) x Weak (200%) = Total (160%)
- Terrible Terrain Terrible IconCategory:test (80%) x Weak (200%) x 1000 Atk = Total Damage 1600 (160%)
A Special-Role student will have 10% of their ATK and HP, 5% of their DEF and HEAL transfer to the Strikers in their unit.
