Sanctum Tower
The Sanctum Tower (サンクトゥムタワー) or Kivotos tower was a tower located in the center of Kivotos.
Background[]
The Sanctum Tower is a mysterious tower that looms over the heart of Kivotos. No one knows when, how, or why it was constructed. There has been a rumor floating around that the General Student Council has the information.
The tower grants the General Student Council the authority required to govern and maintain Kivotos. This authority was previously held solely by the President, prior to her disappearance.
General Information[]
The Sanctum Tower is a massive structure located at the center of Kivotos. Everything about the tower is shrouded in mystery. Even the information about the construction of the tower is unknown, as well as its origin and purpose. However, It has been speculated that the General Student Council may have the information, and the facts about the tower[1]. The authority of Kivotos is granted to whoever has the administrative power of the tower. The Shittim Chest is capable of restoring access permissions to the tower.
Prior to her disappearance, the General Student Council's president nearly single-handedly held control over the entire city through the Sanctum Tower. After she vanished, the General Student Council lost all control over the tower and, consequently, their authority over Kivotos. However, through the use of the Shittim Chest, the Sanctum Tower's permissions were granted to the tablet's AI, who delegated the authority to the GSC at the request of Sensei.
Later, sometime before the signing of the Treaty of Eden, there was a commotion at the Sanctum Tower, with rumors afloat that a part of the tower was burned. [2] This was later revealed to be an attack on the General Student Council by the FOX Platoon in retaliation to plans for the shutdown of their school. This attack led to the hospitalization of some GSC members and a portion of the Sanctum Tower being reduced to ashes.
The tower was destroyed when a False Sanctum descended from the sky and crashed into it.
