The Saint Nephthys Company or Nephthys Group is a corporation within Kivotos.
Background[]
Originally founded in Abydos, by the Izayoi Family, it rose to fame during the golden age of Abydos, at one time was a top company in Kivotos.[1]
The company's fortunes turned during the sandstorms and desertification that ruined Abydos District marked the start of its decline from prosperity.[1]
The corporation was brought to the brink of bankruptcy by The Trans-Desert Railroad project, a last ditch effort to bring back prosperity to Abydos, that ultimately became a drain on the district and corporation. This had a devastating impact on Abydos District's economy, cementing its decline and the departure of residents from Abydos and students from Abydos High School.[1]
Eventually Nephthys Group sold off business operations in Abydos in an effort to survive, and moved on from Abydos.[1]
