Pyroxene (青輝石 ) is the premium currencies in Blue Archive.

Pyroxene can be used to refill AP, reset daily hard mode mission, and most importantly used for recruiting students, also known as Gacha.

Compensation[]
Pyroxene are usually given out as compensation as a result of error, or bugs in the game and maintenance being carried out. The compensation given are usually ranged between 240 to 840 Pyroxene depending on how severity of the error, and how long the maintenance last. Other compensations are also given along with Pyroxene such as AP, currencies, and etc. Compensations usually expires after 7 days unless otherwise stated.
Celebrations[]
Pyroxene are also given out as the result of achieving certain milestone such as surpassing a number of followers on various social medias related to Blue Archive. Similarly, other rewards are also given out along with Pyroxene. These rewards also last for 7 days before it expires unless otherwise stated.

Similar to any Gacha game, Pyroxene can also be bought with real-world money. There are also various package available for different kinds of spenders.

This section was created during May, as such, previous information have been forgotten.
This section will only list emergency maintenance and not the regular maintenance performed every week.
- February 4th, 2021
- Within 2 hours after the game was released, it went into emergency maintenance due to its server unable to handle the overwhelming amount of teachers.
- The first few weeks of it's release marks a historic moment in the game history as there were emergency maintenance on almost every or every other day. Making February the month with the most maintenance as well as the most pyroxene received as compensation.
- May 13th, 2021
- This day was supposed to mark the 100th day of its release and Haruka's birthday. The game went on its regular maintenance but soon turn to emergency maintenance that lasted around 31 hours due to a DDOS attack on its server. This makes it the longest maintenance in the game history as well as the most compensation and pyroxene given out in a single maintenance.
- August 26th, 2021
- The 5th event and the reset of Tactical Competition was supposed to release on this day. The game went on it's regular maintenance but within 30 minutes after maintenance, the game went into its longest emergency maintenance in its lifetime. Extension after extension, the game set a record of 50 hours beating out the previous record of 31 hours. Similarly, the compensation and Pyroxene also beat out it's previous record.
- December 1st, 2021
- A relatively smaller issue. On the 2nd day of the 8th event, a connection failure was preventing sensei from entering the game. Thus, the game went on to its shortest emergency maintenance with a record of about 10 hours.
Trivia[]
- Pyroxene are a group of dark-colored rock-forming minerals found in many igneous and metamorphic rocks.
- Blue Archive has been hit by a DDOS twice. Once around late February and the other on early May.
- The Japanese word for Pyroxene (輝石) is pronounced as "Kiseki", which is homophonous with the word for miracle (奇跡).
