The Nicomedia Troop () is one of the School Clubs in Arius Branch School.
Background[]
With the fall of Madame Beatrice's reign, some Arius students decide to move to Trinity General School under the guise of students from rural areas, while the rest remain in Arius. With the arrival of Trinity and Sensei to Arius, strange phenomena began happening around Arius, believed to be a sign of the upcoming Apocalypse. In an attempt to find a solution, Subaru decided to enter the long-sealed Porta Pacis to find information.
While she searched the place, the Arius students who were with her thought they should have a group name, but they decided Subaru should have the final decision. She came up with the name "Nicomedia Troop", based on the original name of the land Arius set their foundation on.
General Information[]
A group of Arius students who remained in Arius after Beatrice's fall. They still believe that the outside world is cruel and unwelcoming of Arius, and that Trinity is the cause of this. With the belief that the Apocalypse is approaching them, they have nothing but themselves to fend off for their lives.
After resolving the conflict within Arius regarding the remaining Arius students, Atsuko proposed the Arius Squad to be Arius' temporary student council, with the Nicomedia Troop as their Ethics Committee.

- Nicomedia was the name of an ancient Greek city located in what is now Turkey.[1]
- Originally, Maia was not part of the Nicomedia Troop as prior to the group's formation, Subaru banished her from Arius for believing Sensei was a good person. After the issue was resolved, Maia got included into the group.
