Mission (任務 ) or Campaign, are storyless campaign separated into Normal and Hard mode in Blue Archive.
General Information[]
Mission is where farming takes place. Normal missions drop mainly Equipment, while Hard missions drop student's Divine Fragment. Occasionally, they may also drop other items such as EXP Reports, EX-Skill Disc, and growth materials which varies between stages. However, The drop rate for these items are mostly very low. It is not recommended to farm these since there are better ways on obtaining them via Fugitive Warrant and Special Request. Upon 3★ and completing a stage, you may skip the farming process via quick clear. It does not use additional AP and is unlimited.
Mission[]
Each Mission act contains five normal stages and three hard stages. It also has usually two kinds of clear rewards. The first reward requires to simply perfect all the stages, while the second one requires completing stages under a specified number of turns.
- Normal Mission
Normal Missions are the main source of farming Equipment.- Each stages cost 10 AP.
- Once the stage has been cleared with 3★ rating, quick clear for that stage will be unlocked.
- Stages that drop a particular Tier 4 will have a chance to also drop its particular Tier 2. Same with stages that drop Tier 5 will also drop its particular Tier 3, and its Tier 2 at low chance.
- Each stages cost 10 AP.
- Hard Mission
Hard Missions are much more challenging stage, where student's Divine Fragment can be obtained.- When the stage is completed for the first time, a reward of the five Divine Fragment of the stage is distributed.
- Hard mode stages cost 20 AP per clear and can be cleared only 3 times a day. You can clear additionally another three by paying 40 Pyroxenes for the reset.
- The first 3 clears are given daily and resets upon server reset, while the other 3 times can be replenished by paying 40 Pyroxenes.
- Each stages have a chance of dropping 1 fragment or none at all, so you can obtain the maximum chance of getting 3 to 6 (if you replenish) if you are lucky!
- In all hard missions, a special gift box will appear in each stages; which gives teacher an additional 50 Pyroxenes. Reward BoxCategory:test
Mission Objectives (☆)[]
Normal and Hard missions contains three challenges that can be cleared to obtain the stars:
- Mission Complete
As the name suggests, you only need to clear and beat the mission to fulfill the objective. The only way to fail is either manually forfeiting the battle, or all of students gets injured. - Acquire S rank (n) time(s).
Depending on the mission, this challenge will requires obtaining the S rank on multiple battles for a specified number of times.- In majority of the cases, in order to obtain a S rank, Three objectives needs to be fulfilled:
- Defeating all enemies.
- Defeat all enemies within 2 minutes.
The time is displayed as a counter on the top right of the screen (next to the enemy counter). The time given is always fixed to 3 minutes regardless of the stage. However, this does not apply to other stages outside of Mission (e.g. Bounty Missions). For those cases, you just need to make sure the time doesn't fall below under 60 seconds. - All students survive.

- In majority of the cases, in order to obtain a S rank, Three objectives needs to be fulfilled:
- Clear stage within (n) turn(s).
Similarly, each mission also has its turn limit where you must complete the mission in a certain number of turns.- Each mission also comes with their own Challenge Task. Which also requires teachers to complete the mission within a certain number of turns (usually 1 or 2 turns lower than the mission objective).
- Depending on the stage, you may need to abandon the gift box present on hard stages in order to fulfill the achievement's requirements.
