Introduction[]
Members of the enigmatic group who call themselves Gematria and book worms. They are adults and, much like Sensei, are outsiders to Kivotos. They are two individuals who act as one, with Golconde as the "head" and Decalcomanie as the "body." Unlike the norm, they view the world in the form of the way it's perceived, rather than perceiving the world.

In Volume F, Golconde changed forms by Decalcomanie lifting Golconde's portrait up to his headless body, transforming Golconde's face into a different face. The new form introduced themselves as Francis. |
Personality[]
Golconde has a relatively normal personality compared to the other members of Gematria when his way of viewing the world is put aside.
Decalcomanie however, only speaks certain short phrases, the most common one being "But of course!"

Francis, unlike the other members of Gematria, wishes for the end of Kivotos. He also speaks in a way that makes it seem like he's breaking the fourth-wall, mentioning about Sensei's status as protagonist of the story and how they possess plot armor, and how the story of youth and school life is no more, which is coincidentally a reference to Blue Archive Global's 1st Anniversary Animation PV OST "Youth, School Days."[1] |

Decalcomanie is a headless man wearing a brown trench coat. In his right hand, he holds a cane; in the left arm, he holds Golconde.

Francis appears to be Golconde with a different face taking position on Decalcomanie's missing head. Francis' face appears to be a distorted face which looks to be screaming in agony and pain. |

- The "texts" and "signs" that Golconde and Decalcomanie see are things that communicate the meaning of something without being the thing itself. This field of study is known as semiotics.
- Golconde and Decalcomanie are both paintings by René Magritte, who was a Belgian surrealist artist that was best known for making art that challenged the viewer's pre-established perception of reality.
- Interestingly, when observing the contents of the original paintings, Golconda (1953) and Decalcomania (1966), one will find that Golconda depicts men facing the viewer and Decalcomania depicts a man facing away from the viewer. This is opposite to the in-game characters, where Golconde faces away from the viewer and Decalcomanie faces the viewer.
- Francis, who appears after Golconde and Decalcomanie are shot, is based on the Irish-born British figurative painter Francis Bacon. His artworks often revolved around existentialism, and is regarded as one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.
- Francis' portrait ingame is likely based on Head VI, the final painting of Bacon's six panel "1949 Head" series.
- Francis was also mentioned by Black Suit to be one of the many forms that Golconde & Decalcomanie could've taken, and additionally one of the worse ones at that.
