The FOX Platoon (FOX小隊), also known as the FOX Squad in Global, is one of the clubs in SRT Special Academy.
Background[]
The FOX Platoon was a well-achieved fireteam in SRT Special Academy but went AWOL after a certain incident.
General Information[]
The FOX Platoon was a fireteam within SRT Special Academy, comprised of four third-year students. They are a well-accomplished fireteam, having even been responsible for detaining Wakamo before Sensei's arrival in Kivotos. However, following a movement by some within the General Student Council to shut down SRT, the FOX Platoon assaulted the GSC as retaliation and even destroyed parts of the Sanctum Tower. They are currently working with Kaya, who is also working with Kaiser to accomplish a coup d'etat in order to restore SRT and abolish SCHALE.
As the name implies, all four members of the FOX Platoon have fox ears. Coincidentally, they're mostly known for apprehending Wakamo, the Fox of Calamity.

- Prior to the addition of sprites for Kurumi and Otogi, there was debate over who was the brown-haired fox and who was the blonde one. While some originally believed that Kurumi would be the brown-haired fox due to kurumi meaning walnut in Japanese, the reality was that it was the other way around.
- The FOX Platoon is modeled after the United States' Tier One JSOC units such as SEAL Team Six and Delta Force.
- In a developer commentary,[1] the devs mentioned that the FOX Platoon's skills during V4C2 Episode 20 and 22 were taken from FPS games.
- They also said that FOX Platoon was designed based on the concept of "four as one", keeping their designs consistent and having all of the members follow Yukino's orders in unison. This was especially expressed during battle when the other platoon members' buffs and debuffs during the aforementioned episodes were given based on Yukino's orders.
- The scenario animation during Episode 22, which was meant to build up to the climactic scene of the battle between RABBIT Platoon and FOX Platoon, was made in a short time. The absence of Moe was intentional as the scenario team decided that Moe was already in position before the battle began.[2]
- It was also clarified that Volume 4 was written with the intent of fulfilling the "military" part of Blue Archive's catchphrase "Academy, Youth, Military." The story was meant to differentiate the SRT students, who experienced destructive growth by sacrificing their pride, honor, and diversions to become elites, from other students who experienced constructive growth by building towards unachieved goals. They also attempted to separate the FOX Platoon, who believed in adult cynicism, from the RABBIT Platoon who believed in Sensei.[3]
