Event (イベント ) are limited-time event celebration that occurs during a specific time. This can be Normal Event, Campaign Event, Login Event, or Mission event.
Event Types[]
There are a total of four types of events in Blue Archive:
Normal Event[]
Normal Event (イベント ) are usual events in Gacha games. In events, new stories is released along with its own sets of event currencies, shops, challenges, and sometimes minigames.
Campaign[]
Campaign (キャンペーン ) are events that increase the item's drops.
Login[]
Login Bonus (ログインボーナス ) are events that allow teachers to earn rewards just by logging in during the event period.
Mission[]
Event Missions (イベントミッション ), or Daily Missions are events where teachers can earn various rewards by meeting the requirement of a task. There are a total of 7 days with each day having around 6 or more missions. Each mission comes with its set of rewards with one of them being an event-exclusive collectible item. By collecting these exclusive items, teachers will be able to exchange them with the "grand reward" of the event.
The rewards for each set of missions per day will only open the following day; however, the requirements for each mission can be completed in advance prior to its opening.
Special Operation[]
Special Operation (特殊作戦 ), or Spec-Ops are events that happens irregularly. It tells a story that is non-canon of the Main Story. It uses its own kind of currency in order to play the event.
Joint Firepower Exercise[]
Joint Firepower Exercise (連合作戦 ), or Allied Operation are events where teachers aim to complete a set of exercises in the shortest time possible.
Union Operation[]
Union Operation (合同火力演習 ), or Joint Firing Drill are events where teachers all over the world work together to defeat the world raid boss.
Web Events[]
Web events is events that is done via in-game browsers, usually comes in form of one-tap short story or minigames. Players can claim daily prizes when they completed the event once a day.
Currently web events are only available in Global and China version of the game.
Permanent Events[]
Permanent Event (イベント常設化 ), also known as Event Recap or Immortalized Event is a feature where older events will be immortalized after some while. Features of events made permanent differs for each event.
- Normal Events will be made permanent after approximately 2 years after its original run (including a year after its rerun, making it 2 runs maximum before made permanent). When normal events are made permanent, only event stories will be featured with minimal clear rewards, and event currencies, quests and other features will be disabled.
- Welfare students is still obtainable in this feature by clearing the stories, with an addition of 30x shards as accompanying rewards. However there will be no other means to obtain their shards other than the Mastery Certificate Shop.
- Banners tied to any event runs will be rerun on the event's first week of being permanent. With the case of Mayoi Shigure (Hot Spring ver.), it is also possible to have a new banner being run on the same period.
- Event Mission will be accessible in Event Recap after some periods, and reward will be retained the same as its original run. If a player is unable to finish such event before its original deadline, their progress will be kept as is and they can progress from where they left off.
- Special Operation is also made permanent in the feature after some while and is treated the same like the Normal events.
- However events tied to the main stories are accessible instead via Main Story instantly after the campaign run ends, with only final rewards is kept as is.
