The Ecumenical Councils are councils where important decisions concerning the entire school are made at Trinity General School.
List of Councils[]
Note: The councils are in order of their real life counterparts (or similar counterparts), as their chronological order in Blue Archive has not yet been revealed within the story.
First Council of Nicaea[]
The first ecumenical council, and the council where the various factions of old Trinity formed an alliance that led to modern day Trinity. Guardians for the canon laws formed during this council were also appointed.
New Quinisext Ecumenical Council[]
Briefly mentioned during the Sister and the Magician of the Old Bookstore event. A scripture containing annotations regarding this council was excavated an unknown period of time after Sensei's arrival to Kivotos.
New Council of Nicaea[]
Took place 170 years ago. Notably, the last time a treaty was made at Trinity was during this council, until the advent of the Treaty of Eden.
Second Ecumenical Council[]
Introduces "Gaudium et Spes," which is latin for "hope and joy."
In the real world, "Gaudium et Spes" was a constitution that clarified and reoriented the role of the church's mission to people outside of Catholic faith. It is unknown whether or not Gaudium et Spes is a full text within Blue Archive like it is in real life, or if it's simply a standalone phrase.
