Arona (アロナ) is a non-playable character in Blue Archive that resides in the mysterious Shittim Chest. She accompanies Sensei throughout their adventure in Kivotos as a guide.
She is the main mascot of Blue Archive, appearing as the figurehead on its website and social media. In addition to providing information and updates to Sensei, she also runs a series of videos called Arona Channel.

Introduction[]
Arona is a self-proclaimed high-performance AI who serves as the OS of the Shittim Chest. She resides in a desolate classroom located in the midst of a watery expanse, stretching further than the eye can see. When she's not helping Sensei with their tasks, she's up to goofy antics that appear on Arona Channel.
Personality[]
She has a child-like personality and is quite gullible, often falling for Sensei's jokes. Arona thoroughly enjoys sweets, being quick to abandon a diet for the sake of sweets—or even breaking into tears from being denied them.
Appearance[]
Arona is a small AI girl with short sky blue/violet hair with bangs covering her left eye, a white headband with a large bow, and braids tied to her left side. She has bright blue eyes and has heterochromia, with the right eye having a blue pupil and the left having a violet pupil. Arona's halo is interchangeable based on her emotions. She resembles the president of the general student council.
Halo[]
Her normal halo is a simple blue ring that resembles a stock power button LED ring sometimes found on on certain desktop computers, but it changes to different colors and shapes based on her mood:

Uniform[]
The sailor uniform is tied in a ribbon with long sleeves; has a white collar, and white ribbon ties with an LED ring stuck in one of them. The choker and white sneakers have bow-like shoelaces. The white skirt has ○×+△ symbol.
Abilities[]
Super AI Functions[]
As a powerful AI, Arona originally had authority over many functions in Kivotos, and Sensei needed to ask for her permission in order to hand them over to the GSC. Arona herself still has incredible power as an AI, able to fend off a hacking attempt from Decagrammaton with a mere sneeze in her sleep when Millenium's main supercomputer was hacked in seconds.
Reality Warping Protection Powers[]
When Trinity was attacked with a cruise missile during the Eden Treaty, Sensei was at ground zero of the explosion, yet ended up relatively unharmed. Arona then tells Sensei that she can't protect him for much longer, meaning that she somehow managed to protect Sensei from the Shittim Chest and had enough power to nullify damage from a cruise missile. It's entirely possible that she has been using this power throughout Sensei's time in Kivotos, protecting Sensei from harm as he commands the students during the many battles waged together with them.
This power has an energy limit however, as protecting Sensei from the missile, she was unable to protect Sensei from being shot by Saori afterward.
Although it's still unclear if Arona's providing this power or if it's the Shittim Chest itself, this ability has been proven to be life-changing, especially for Sensei who spends a huge chunk of their time in the midst of gunfire without the bullet resistance provided by halos.
