Affection

Bond (絆, Bond) or Relationship on Global, is a mechanic that unlocks various features in Blue Archive.

General Information[]

Relationship is a mechanic that allows teachers to unlock a student's Relationship Rank Bonus, Relationship Story and Memorial Lobby.

Relationship Rank Bonus
These are additional stats added on top of their basic stats and they come in different types, each focusing on one stat and gradually increases as the Relationship gets higher:
- Primary Bonus
  This is the first bonus that is available from Relationship 1 to 20 50.
- Secondary Bonus
  This is the second bonus that is available from Relationship 11 to 20 50. There are no more stat bonuses after Relationship 20 50.
- Bond bonus
  When a student has a variant, both the original and her variant will received a bond bonus equal to the sum of their stats.
Relationship Story
Upon reaching a certain Relationship, students will start to message teachers through MomoTalk. After some conversation, teachers will be able to view the student's Relationship Story.
Recollection Lobby
The Recollection Lobby is a Live2D of a student doing something related to their Relationship Story. Upon unlocking, teachers will be able to view and set these as their lobby homescreen.
- A maximum of 10 students can placed on the roster for the lobby homescreen.

To raise a student's Relationship, they will need to earn Relationship Points which can be obtained by the following methods:

Cafe visits
Every 3 hours, teachers can "check-in" Headpat IconCategory:test⁠ on the students visiting the Cafe, and by tapping them and earning Relationship Points. However, teachers will only gain points with students they have recruited.
Giving gifts
In the Cafe, teachers can also give their students a variety of gifts, this being the fastest way to gain Relationship. There is no limit for how many gifts may be given at one time. However, different gifts have varying impact for each student.
Holding lessons
Everyday, teachers can schedule a certain number of lessons. Within each room lies either 1 to 3 students and by holding a lesson, the students within will gain Relationship Points. Do note, teachers will only gain points with students they have recruited.

Relationship[]

Relationship is a separate leveling system from student's personal level. Every level will give the students bonus stats up until they reach Relationship 50. Depending on their Relationship, teachers can unlock the student's Recollection Lobby as well. Relationship, Relationship Story and Relationship Rank Bonus can all be viewed in MomoTalk.

There are a few things to take note of this system:

Students who are 1★ and 2★ will have a maximum Relationship of 10.
- This limit can be broken by unlocking them to 3★.
- Teachers should be mindful not to attempt to raise beyond Relationship 10 before awakening them.
Students who are 3★ will have a maximum Relationship of 20.
- Similarly, this limit can be broken by unlocking them to 5★.
At 5★, students will have a maximum Relationship of 100.
- Bonus stats stop at level 51 and passing it gives no further bonuses.
